Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE DUFOUR (nee BERNARDIN) Peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at the Tache Centre, Cecile Dufour passed away at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ulric; and her son Rene; her brothers, Leon, Armand and Lucien. She leaves to cherish her memory four brothers, Rev. Fr. Robert Bernardin O.M.I., Olivier (Lea), Laurent (Noelline), Rene (Anne) and three sisters, Helene Chabot (Yves), Claire Baumgartner (Leonard) and Simone Pfeutzner (Wolfgang) and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Cecile loved life and has always shown to be courageous in the face of adversity, a frail constitution, the premature death of her husband Ulric and the sudden death of her only son Rene at the age of 38 years. Her sense of duty, moral responsibility and her religious beliefs served her well in times of hardship. May she rest in peace at last. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at Tache Centre for their dedicated and friendly service to Cecile during her stay at the Centre. Funeral service will be held at Eglise du Precieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St. at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, with Rev. Fr. Isaie Blanchette, O.M.I. officiating. Viewing will take place prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment to follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery, 917 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
